In 2010 I began an exploration of rural landscapes. The first series was based on understanding the most simple concept that defines our relationship with land around us; the horizon line. Growing up rural surroundings, I was always aware of the horizon line. Ever visible. Dotted with farm houses and woods, silos and power lines, it was ever present. It provided comfort, a familiar boundry to my world.
