athousandthings: October 2004
http://athousandthings.blogspot.com/2004_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 29, 2004. Just when I thought I was safe from ever again making a new and completely gratuitous blog along comes Biz Stone and Blogger Knowledge: Blogging Your Novel Part One. In which he suggests setting up another blog. However I've just rembered the latent "no working title" blog, maybe this is the blog that I should use for "south coast train" thereby avoiding extraneous bloggage. Posted by lynn at 1:10 pm. athousandthings: May 2005
http://athousandthings.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2005. It’s poo when one of my stated goals is to be a better blogger and for some unknown reason I can’t actually get into Blogger using my eMac and Safari, or my eMac and Explorer. Do I need to download Firefox? Do I need to do something else that isn’t readily known to me because I can’t get into the Blogger Help files either. It’s all very peculiar. See more progress on: find out why I can’t access Blogger. Posted by lynn at 5:36 pm. Links to this post. Sunday, May 22, 2005.

Flickr has been acquired. From flickr indicated that things will not change, but I have a heavy feeling in my stomach about this, which interestingly I didn't have when Blogger announced it was being taken over by Google. I think this is because Yahoo! I hope that Yahoo! Posted by lynn at 6:33 pm. When I lived ...

http://athousandthings.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 03, 2005. July is the month for the Sydney Drawing Festival. There are exhibitions and events on all over Sydney - but there doesn't seem to be a website advertising the whole lot. It seems to be an offshoot of the International Drawing Research Institute's. Conference. There's stuff on at the Australian Museum. At the Botanic Gardens. At the Power House Museum, and at various Historic Houses Trust. Posted by lynn at 3:53 pm. Links to this post. Friday, July 01, 2005. Each work is instead to...

athousandthings: Steve Irwin: national hero
http://athousandthings.blogspot.com/2006/09/steve-irwin-national-hero.html
Monday, September 04, 2006. Steve Irwin: national hero. Died today after being stabbed in the chest by a stingray. The news started off reasonable size with a top of the page article on smh.com.au, but by the time I was going home from work the story had stretched to a banner image of Steve and a goanna across most of the page, and now there's 3 articles and video, photos, a pop-up location map, and a link to "Your Say: Vale Steve Irwin". So I guess Steve passing is an important event. Or not. Further wi...

Sunday, May 11, 2008. Yesterday I made some astro turf out of a green plastic bag. It's a very tiny square of fake grass. Today I'm trying to resuscitate my blogger and flickr accounts and get stuff joined up. I'll see how I go. Maybe I'll be able to post a picture of my knitting. Posted by lynn at 7:55 am.
