Dimænsion X Realm: March 2015
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Hibernation Hiatus and the IPMA. When it comes to music, I tend to go into severe hibernation during the winter. I get absolutely nothing done. Well, maybe not nothing, but very little actual music. And since I'm using 64 bit Reaper DAW now, the 32-bit VSTs and effects "float" on the screen when you don't want them to. And other weird stuff. So I've been re-learning how to do a lot of things. Now, next topic - the IPMA. Or the International Portuguese Music Awards. Why would I mention the IPMA? Just clic...

Dimænsion X Realm: May 2014
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
New music, and an album for sale! I've really got a jump an a few new music projects (finally! The first is my "12-tone"-based project: I have about 30 or so minutes of music so far. I plan on adding a few more tracks, then it's time to mix it all together and release. Tentatively titled, "Improvisario.". I also got some news that a "secret" project that has been in development since 2007 is finally going to see light! FIRE and ICE and THE PANTOMIME HORSE. NEW PROJECT FINALLY STARTED. I finally got the "...

Dimænsion X Realm: March 2014
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
What's Nex' for Dimaension X? It's high time I got my stuff together and started recording THE. Progressive Rock album of the Century. A lofty goal, you say? Well, I've got to set the bar high and force myself to buckle down and work on some new music. I've been fiddling with cover tunes and tributes, bought some new pedals, and recently even purchased a new guitar (an Agile AL-3010SE Tribal Green - google that and you'll see what they look like). Use this for some metallized tunez. The Dimaension X Realm.

Dimænsion X Realm: New album - The GWEN Towers
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2014/09/new-album-gwen-towers.html
New album - The GWEN Towers. Yep, I finished a new album, comprised mostly of improvised-on-the-spot tunage. The title track is created using the same technique I did for my Improvisario album, along with a bunch of the unused notes that were leftover. I recorded about 7 short snippets of songs (about 20-30 seconds long), and spliced them together. I also mostly used the Big Mono Analogue drumkit samples ( they're free! Here's the song titles:. 1 The GWEN Towers. 3 Don’t You Hear the Drums? Dimaension X ...

Dimænsion X Realm: Uuhhhh, … Next Please?
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2015/01/uuhhhh-next-please.html
Uuhhhh, … Next Please? Wow - it's 2015, and I still haven't completed any of my proposed projects I've been working on. I've got the new computer finally set up and ready to go, but still really haven't dug in and committed to any real new music projects. I've begun a bunch of things:. Some spacey synth tracks. Some "doomy, riffy" sounding tracks. Some other stuff …. Yeah, not helpful, huh? Will it be "drone-doom" or "black metal"? Been listening to a lot of Black Sabbath lately. All of the various p...

Dimænsion X Realm: DISCOGRAPHY:
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/discography.html
Each album can be downloaded for FREE, by clicking on the title - this takes you to that album's page at the Internet Archive. Where you can preview the album, download the whole album, download individual songs, cover art, post a review, and explore other music by artists. Once again, I'm diving into the synth-rock world occupied by bands like Zombi, Goblin, Celldweller, and other similar bands. Lots of. Percolating sequences, sweeping atmospheres, rock guitars and heavy drums. Brain Tree Split (2016).

Dimænsion X Realm: TWO new Dimaension X albums almost ready
http://dimaensionxblog.blogspot.com/2014/06/two-new-dimaension-x-albums-almost-ready.html
TWO new Dimaension X albums almost ready. Yep, I've been a busy little bee lately, and have almost completed the two new Dimaension X albums I mentioned in my posts below. I'll let y'all know when they're posted and ready for download. These are the first releases of all new music for a very long time, so I'm a bit psyched to get them out there. Now close your eyes, and you'd swear you were at a Journey concert. It's going to be interesting to see where this goes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Foyer - The Residents' Virtual Museum
http://www.theresidents.co.uk/museum
Within these galleries you can study artifacts from the Residents' long history. Happy browsing and don't touch. In 2000 we had the idea to make an online ‘museum’ of Residents props and scraps. Naturally, we couldn't agree how this was to be done, so it sat on the back burner for a year. In 2001 we decided that a virtual museum might make a fitting tribute to 30 years of The Residents. We thought about a cake, but this seemed better. And several shy (but very generous) people — you know who you are.
