You can't go to the CWS and not cheer for somebody, so in the past, we've picked a random team and half-ass supported them. But this year we upped the ante, actually purchasing TCU gear to wear all day long. We quickly learned the Horned Frog hand symbol. MyShawn quotes of all time, but there would be like 20 honorable mentions.). When ...

My Life as an Expat: The Batu Caves
http://amberslifeinjakarta.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-batu-caves.html
My Life as an Expat. Noun 1. expat [ɛksˈpæt] - a person who is voluntarily absent from home or country. Saturday, May 10, 2014. Okay, this place was a MUST-SEE! Plus, it was the cheapest place we visited the entire time we were there! Ryan and I are really into history and very open-minded so it was a wonderful experience to visit such an important temple to Hindus. To get to the Batu Caves, we had to take Malaysia's equivalence of the subway. We grabbed some Roti boys (of course) and were on our way.

My Life as an Expat. Noun 1. expat [ɛksˈpæt] - a person who is voluntarily absent from home or country. Sunday, August 25, 2013. I'm going, going - back, back - to Bali, Bali. Every August, Indonesia has about two weeks off in celebration of Ramadan, a Muslim holiday. The whole country basically goes on vacation! I love it. I will definitely miss it next year when I am back home but the summer break in June and July will make up for it. So it was nice to be able to go off and do my own thing. Jakarta is ...

In this video I also filmed part of the view of the city. I hope it's clear enough for you guys to see but you should at least be able to hear the man singing. http://jumhammonds.blogspot.com/2014/05/question-of-day-hey-remember-those.html
Friday, May 23, 2014. Question Of The Day (Hey, Remember Those? I officially got concerned that I might have to back this up someday. I have to remember that I'm not 19 anymore, and $500 really isn't that much money. So, the Question of the Day, which yes, I know, are much less fun when we don't have comments anymore, but at least it might make you think a little bit, learn about your own personal boundaries- how much money would it take you to dive through a urinal trough? The Slice: Announcement
http://jumhammonds.blogspot.com/2014/07/announcement.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. Well, gang, I have news. Last week I got picked up by rockchalktalk.com to write about my beloved Kansas Jayhawks. While it ain't gonna pay much, it's certainly going to pay more than The Slice does. (There were a couple instances when somebody bought me a beer as a thank you for keeping them entertained at work.so we'll generously call it $15 over eight years.). References, or talk about how awesome and hilarious me and my friends are? It ain't the Butterfly, it's the Tootsee Roll!
