Matt in Mexico: Some catching up

http://www.mattinmex.blogspot.com/2007/10/some-catching-up.html

Stories of Matt teaching literacy in a small Mexican village. Sunday, October 14, 2007. Hi everyone. I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything here; I apologize. It’s hard to find time in the city to write something and then take the time to post it. This is just to show those of you who know me well how much Mexico has changed me: yes, I’m wearing flip-flops and jeans. Crazy! I actually don’t wear flip-flops too much, but jeans are definitely a daily part of the ensemble. Emily´s blog...

Cox Family: January 2011

Saturday, January 22, 2011. Plowing ON Summit Lake. Here are some pictures from the time we spent at my sister's house just after Christmas. She recently acquired an ATV with snowplow attachment so we had fun plowing the snow off the ice on Summit Lake so that we could go ice skating. Fred didn't try driving the ATV - he used a shovel to clear the ice. Matt getting instructions from Sue. Pat ready to go! Watch out for Dan! Nanci ready to plow. View from the street looking onto the lake.

Dan and Fred, sitting on the dock at Summit Lake. I know you can't see their faces but I like the silhouette look). Corn on the grill! The flotilla (boat parade) on Summit Lake. Dan and two of his cousins on the "high dive". The farmland of the Hudson Valley. Those are the Green Mountains of Vermont in the distance. 1 corn on the grill.

I <3 Adam: May 2013

http://mellovesadam.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Instant messaging was a big part of how Adam and I started to get to know one another before we officially began dating. We used to IM while we were sitting right next to each other at work or til the wee hours of the morning. And very fortunately for me, some of the conversations were saved! Here are a couple of exchanges from just before we started dating that cause me to smile uncontrollably. Do you ever feel like your face just can't smile as big as you want it to? Krispie604:...

I <3 Adam: Reunion

http://mellovesadam.blogspot.com/2011/04/reunion.html

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. One day, while Adam and I were engaged, I was meeting up with him on campus, in the parking lot by the HFAC and the WSC. I'm not sure if it was the first time we were meeting that day or not, but I"m sure it had been less than 24 hours since we had last seen each other. Personally, I can't wait. How beautiful. I teared up just reading about it :). April 28, 2011 at 12:36 PM. I can picture this in my head, easily. theres never been a romance like yours. July 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM.

Thursday, February 20, 2014. As I think about Adam today, on the 31st anniversary of his birth, I wanted to share this photo with you. Unfortunately I don't remember much about Adam's 5th birthday celebration but it looks like we were having a great time. I do know this was when we lived at Fort Gordon, Georgia. I can tell the cake was a clown cake. Adam loves clowns! Adam on the left and Jonathan on the right. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Dinner Bell's Ringing - Join Us at the Table!

http://mellovesadam.blogspot.com/2013/05/zion.html

Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Editor's note: I can't believe I let my history trail off and just end back then. There's still so much to tell! He had to stop the car so he could give me a hug and words of encouragement. I am always amazed at how tender and loving he is. I felt so much better by the time we got to Zion. We were of course sad to be without the others but the park was so beautiful! But inside the canyons of the park it was perfect. We had a wonderful time! I 3 Mel and Adam! May 1, 2013 at 5:25 PM.

X Flying Pig x Superior Hiking Trail x Stone Steps 50k. Sunday, June 10, 2012. I've taken it pretty easy for the past week (aside from getting my butt kicked at my new job which requires a bit more manual labor than I'm accustomed to! But now it's time to dust off the running shoes and get back on the trail. The Stone Steps 50k is only 5 months away, so I need to get into gear. Look for some occasional posts as my training progresses. Matt and Heidi Hudson-Flege. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. End of the Line.
