All the little bits from day to day life and fun. Yes, rigged. Really not in my favor. January 29, 2006 9:49 PM. On one, I completed in the SB with A6o, flop AKQ. I led for 225 (1/4 my stack), and someone pushed. I should have folded, and that was the most obvious screwup, I think. That board is scaryville. He had JT. Shafted. (No runner, runner full houses for me like the AQ guy). Addendum - still rigged, sometimes in my favor. January 25, 2006 10:26 PM. It's more like tilting causes me to get into FPS ...

All the little bits from day to day life and fun. New blog, new photos. November 21, 2005 6:35 PM. Well, I've gone blog crazy lately. First, if you're interested, the other blogs: www.mattwallace.net. Which is my personal, political and tech punditry, but not so much the "cat barfed on the carpet today" sort of stuff. Then I've got the ender.com blog. Ok, that's not working. I'll just point to the pics for now: they're here. And worry about the plugin later. Continue reading New blog, new photos.

All the little bits from day to day life and fun. August 29, 2006 11:57 PM. I turned 31 today. It is much the same as 31. But you know, it marks the passage of time. Inexorable time, which eats away life. I've discussed occasionally the possibility that we might live forever. My generation. Stem cells, telomeres. And some people have told me they wouldn't want to live forever. To hell with that, I say. Sign me up for eternal life. I'm quite certain I could go on forever. Ennui? There are still a lot of t...

All the little bits from day to day life and fun. July 15, 2008 11:25 PM. So, if you're an a/v junkie, a gadget junkie, a general geek, you probably have heard of sonos. Who make an advanced wireless music player. However, Apple has a very nice set of products:. On the order of $500, Mac Mini, with DVI and digital audio out, full Mac functionality; it's a full Mac but useful for all kinds of things. Small enough to fit anywhere. Right now, I am coding and blogging down in my theater room, outputting my i...

All the little bits from day to day life and fun. April 19, 2008 2:27 PM. We got free ecycling and a free face paint:. An Era of Accountability. April 15, 2008 11:01 AM. An Era of Accountability is coming. It feels like America has been binging, and we haven't yet reformulated our thinking to realize: wait, maybe this is our fault. John McCain has just suggested we suspend the gas tax. Okay, so this is clearly political pandering, but you have to ask: why should we do that? Let's look at this:. Irrespons...

All the little bits from day to day life and fun. Vegas, book idea, iPhone. August 29, 2007 8:52 PM. I am blogging this bad boy from the car en route to vegas. We hit Disney's double feature in socal along with universal studios. Today I turned 2. Now I will hopefully drop the hammer on some llamas in vegas in the 1-2 game. I got to meet a guy today I only know online from coh, which was cool. A guy from work has been pushing me to take swim lessons and swim on a regular schedule, and I think I'll jump o...

All the little bits from day to day life and fun. Baldur's Gate - Seams in Tiles. May 12, 2010 1:32 PM. Was quite possibly the best RPG ever made. On modern computers, you may encounter a problem where seams show up beween the 40x40 grid of "tiles" that make up the screen. While this can be solved by disabling 3d entirely, the game runs smoother with it - so instead, use your driver control panel (ie, nvidia control panel) to disable antialiasing. Specificly for that application. City of . (1).
