The musings of the marvellous mav madam mich. A family's thoughts at a difficult time. It’s with regret that I have to share news with you that Mum is back in hospital. The hospital has since found out several things going on with mum, though generally aren’t sure why or how things are happening. Firstly, her chest infection is really quite severe and her chest is very rattly. She is on oxygen and regular nebulisers to try and loosen her chest and move the infection on. I had my third chemotherapy session last week, on 23rd October, exactly one year since my cancer diagnosis. The session went well, though my white blood count is quite low now, and I am having the usual post-chemo fatigue side effects. Can’t complain as I know plenty of folk have much worse side effects.
