Thursday, April 2, 2009. We flew back to Kathmandu today. Our Sherpa, Subha came with us. He is very nice. I play chess and cards with him. We went to the village of Patan and saw very old Newari temples, some over 600 years old. We found our first ice cream in a cone. I had chocolate. We met an Australian family with kids My age. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Friday we started trekking. We went Through a LOT of towns. There was A trek to Annapurna. There was animals working. I played UNO with a German family and I won! We saw a lot trekkers. Max has turned out to be the best trekker of the family! Thursday, March 26, 2009. Today we had to get up early because we were going to Pokhara. We are going to trek here. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Today we woke up at 4 am We went to the airport to fly in a small airplane over the Himalayan mountains. We saw Mt. Everest up close. My mom cried.
