Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Tutorial 4 - DONE! Choose Gradient Overlay to begin. Choose colors in the Gradient Editor and adjust the gradient angle. Select Inner Shadow, Drop Shadow and Outer Glow, use Global Light and adjust settings. Adjust smoothing, altitude and opacity, add Contour and set its range. Drag layer into Styles Palette and name it. Click style and apply it to another selected layer. Duplicate, blur and adjust levels of Green Channel, define as pattern and use it as a texture.

Thursday, December 18, 2008. Tutorial 5 - DONE! Fisrtly,a small practice how to blend the two layer together. Create a new layer and rename it as' Flames'. Use lasso tool to draw something that resemble flame. And fill the shape with white,which is the background color. Apply gaussian blur to the flame. Turn on the preserve transparency icon. Then choose the soft edge brush tool,change the background color to black. Paint to the outside of the flame. Use the rectangle marquee tool to draw around the flame.

Some gaussian blur on it and the picture on the left side. 4 Add two more picture into the wallpaper on the left side on top right side and apply the same. Mode from the first image that i put in earlier. 3 Add in filter on render lens flare. 2 Change the opacity on the background picture and change the blend mode option to soft light.

Then I place the fire on the man's hand using brush tool. I use brush tool to draw a globe. I drag the money image into this picture then i resize a bit. I put the money merge into the globe. I draw a rain drop and then define it as a brush, then i put the rain drops all around the man's head. I use brush to re-draw the cloud. This is my final work for tutorial 5.

First of all, I used elliptical marquee tool on the center of the pictures of skyscrapers. Then, I go and click on the filter and choose blur.
