The Quest for Our Princess. Sunday, June 26, 2011. We have received a submission date of June 29th for our dossier to the SDA. They are still clsoing down on July 11th but if we go ahead and submit, we can be apart of the first families to adopt from the new ministry when they re-open. Our last documents are being sent over tomorrow and we pray that they will be received on Wednesday! The boys were just as excited and wanted to be apart of it all. Here are some pictures of them painting! This is exciting...

The Quest for Our Princess. Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Didn't realize that it has been so long since an update so I will make this extra long! Now to expand on each event. We celebrated Thanksgiving at Shawn and Amy's house. Eryna loved all the food options and that she could eat as much as she wanted! She prefers vegetables, meats, and her favorite of all is fruit! Of course she would eat candy all day if we let her but she has come along way with accepting that candy is only for special occasions.

I've known Illya for a couple years through various ministry we have done in Kherson (Illya grew up in the main Kherson orphanage). However I didn't get to know him better until this past summer at camp, when he was in my English group. I always make kids sing silly songs in English and it seems to make us connect! Illya is just the sweetest most polite kid! I was so excited when I found this out!
