Millivette's Art Blarg: December 2012
http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 25, 2012. This merry holiday season I thought about getting my dog an ugly Christmas sweater. Above is what I suspect his reaction would have been. I thought better of said idea and got him a giant bone instead. Below is what his Christmas actually looked like. Thursday, December 13, 2012. Here's a portrait of my friend Anne. Who is a kick-ass illustrator, by the way. I highly recommend clicking that linky link). Monday, December 10, 2012. Here's a compilation of his jump, walk, and turn.

Millivette's Art Blarg: October 2012
http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 22, 2012. Hur, hur, hur, it's primitive theater time! I animated some bunnies and lightsabers, because I could. Saturday, October 6, 2012. Here's my first Computer Animation I assignment and my first animation in Maya. So far, animation is pretty fun. I dig it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Just some character sheets for our first Concept Development assignment and some dolphin silhouettes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Millivette's Art Blarg: ¡Olé!
http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2013/05/ole.html
Friday, May 31, 2013. From Millie González. Just realized I forgot to post my final assignment for the Spring semester on here. An over-confident matador doesn't realize how scary his new job is. Tons of fun modeling, rigging, animating, and texturing this guy. Definitely a learning experience for upcoming animations. Things I'll never do again: animate cloth. May 31, 2013 at 1:57 AM. Millivette's Art Blarg: November 2013
http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 9, 2013. Fire hair and snow. This was my first time doing an environment heavy painting and although it was a challenge, it was also loads of fun. Also, I don't know how snow works, so that was interesting to research. And below, some progress! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cowgirls and lazy puppehs? Was inspired by my dog's utter laziness sometimes. And a cowgirl I did for class. She was fun.

http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2013/07/cup-o-bears.html
Monday, July 8, 2013. After a really long time, I finally did another Cup O' Doodle thingy. Eventually, I turned off the original doodle and ended up getting a little far away from it. But eh, it's ok. Things I learned from this: drawing is hard, bears are cuties. July 8, 2013 at 11:50 PM. Im seriously diggin this. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Millivette's Art Blarg: December 2013
http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 8, 2013. This town ain't big enough. Disclaimer: The internet makes it look less vibrant than it really is). End of the semester is here and that means I have time to bombard my blog with new stuff. This final painting for DFA was tons of fun, and I certainty learned a lot about color and mood. Plus westerns are tons of fun overall. I'd like to render out a bit more when I have some free time over break, but for now, this is the finished piece. Gross, rough progress.

Millivette's Art Blarg: June 2013
http://octobotworkshop.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 19, 2013. The dragons above were done for an assignment where we had to design a dragon and its rider using both a realistic and graphic approach. As you can see, my realistic one turned out to be more cartoony and my graphic one to be more realistic. But, oh well, I still had fun. Also, I still don't know how dragons work, sorry. I also forgot how to perspective, that's cool. But it was fun working on compositions and experimenting with negative space, yay. Saturday, June 8, 2013.
