http://nicolemartel.blogspot.com/2015/06/five.html
June 3, 2015. Hello everyone. For the past five years, I've been creating yearly layouts for Edward. I love doing these because later down the road, I can look back and read everything that he was into and I will be able to read the things he has said. He is growing so fast and I can't believe that he's five already! Here's my layout for year 5! You can see the previous years here. All in one post. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You make me happy when skies are grey. OMG I love this beautiful collec.

Nicole Martel: Sew Simple
http://nicolemartel.blogspot.com/2012/04/sew-simple.html
April 15, 2012. This month, I decided to experiment a bit; I wanted to try a new technique. And while you might wonder how I manage to incorporate another hobby into my scrapping projects, let me assure you that it really is "sew simple". Hehe. Do you like that? I came up with it all by myself. Anyways, I decided to try stitching on one of my layouts for April's SFTIO Kit Club. I thought, "hey, I have 5 layouts to create, might as well try something new and fun! Oh wait, I've got an idea! But I lost the ...

Nicole Martel: Purple makes fall much more beautiful
http://nicolemartel.blogspot.com/2014/10/purple-makes-fall-much-more-beautiful.html
October 3, 2014. Purple makes fall much more beautiful. Nicole here with my very first Clique Kits. Post Ah, what a fabulous kit we have here this month. I love the rich colors in the Masquerade Ball kit featuring lots of Basic Grey goodies. When I first saw the kit, I immediately thought of those fun fall photos that I took last year. Before I began, I knew that I wanted to scrap a few different photos so the first thing I did was cut two patterned papers into 8 1/2"x11" and 7 1/2"x10" rectangles. T...

Nicole Martel: Experimenting with watercolors
http://nicolemartel.blogspot.com/2015/05/experimenting-with-watercolors.html
May 26, 2015. Hi everybody. About a month ago, I bought an Aqua Painter. Stampin'Up party thinking it would really be cool not to have to keep dipping my paint brush in water every few seconds. Can I just tell you, this tool is awesome! Also , before switching colors, simply use a paper towel to remove the previous color from the brush before dipping it into another color. What do you think? I love trying new things. I must admit, I cannot believe that this was created with my own hands. Supplies: Cardst...

http://nicolemartel.blogspot.com/2011/10/create-your-own-little-paper-balloons.html
October 18, 2011. Create your own little paper balloons. Have you looked at the Pinterest. Seriously, that place is loaded with tons of inspiration that you could use for your house or scrapbooking. I thought these paper pom-poms were adorable so I decided to make something of my own. I decided to create a fun little paper balloon for a card. First you need to punch 6- 1-1/2' squares from pattern papers of your choice using your Creative Memories punch. This is what it will look like completely dried.

Nicole Martel: I heart you!
http://nicolemartel.blogspot.com/2012/05/i-heart-you.html
May 15, 2012. Today I would like to share a fun technique with you. A few weeks ago, while I was creating this beautiful layout using the May kit by SFTIO. I ran out of embellishments. I needed a heart but didn't have any heart stamps or chipboards and I didn't want a punched heart. I wanted something different. So while I was trying to decide on what to do, I remembered something I saw on pinterest. It was a picture of two finger prints in the form of a heart! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hello e...
