So I'm going to keep a blog of the last few days I will be permanently living in this house before I go off to college and never return (not permanently, at least. I hope.) Thursday, November 15, 2012. Some Ponderings on The Road. So first I think I should make it clear that I haven't finished. Yet, but I am getting very close, and also very frustrated. I just want to know. Another question would be: why don't the man and the boy have names? Are they intentionally anonymous, just for the purpose of symbolism? To mean that at times like that, when your only goal is survival, your identity doesn't matter anymore? Wouldn't such a terrible situation take those beliefs away?

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. And I'm surrounded by painful reminders of things that I don't want to deal with. I have nowhere to go, nobody to be with, and nothing to do to distract myself. I miss AP English every morning, watching Carl Azuz on CNN Student news and writing 2 or 3 essays a week.
