Plaster Puppets | Meghan's Art

This activity can be extended further to create puppets out of one’s entire hand, arm and even on the face to create a mask. This two-day procedure to make a mask would require partners. Carefully line one’s face with saran wrap (ensuring sufficient air gets through the nose and mouth). Have your partner plaster your face by dipping the plaster in water and masking your face, leaving holes for eyes, mouth and nose. 1 A lesson plan for making plaster masks.
