The Roberts Family: August 2009
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 22, 2009. As you can tell from my post about the girls' dance recital. Over Christmas Break had a lasting impression on them (at least it did on Isabel.Ashlen always wants to do whatever her big sister is doing). As much as I will miss the dance recital this year, and as much as I can't stand sitting in the bleachers of a winter-like setting (I HATE winter), I must admit that it is pretty cute to watch them skating! Here they are at their first lesson:. Tuesday, August 18, 2009.

Vastine adVentures: Kathie and Diane's Visit Continued!
http://vastineadventures.blogspot.com/2015/08/kathie-and-dianes-visit-continued.html
Just a little family of four on a big adventure in Europe! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Kathie and Diane's Visit Continued! Kathie and Diane's European adventure continued in Delft, The Netherlands! What a beautiful little city. It has the canals, wooden shoes, gorgeous buildings, and the friendly Dutch people. What it does not have is the crowds of Amsterdam! That's not such a bad thing. You MUST get a pic in the wooden shoe! We were blessed with a really gorgeous day! The painting is actually in The Hague.

The Roberts Family: April 2010
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. The girls started taking tumbling in the fall and they LOVE it! They have taken a few tumbling sessions in the past, but this year they have really started taking it seriously because they want to be able to do the 'cool tricks'. Isabel looks more like a slinky than a girl most days.she is very bendy in the middle! She is pumping herself up for the big bend! Gotta kick off the shoes (another story for another time):. But, she is not done yet.she wants to try for the kick-over:.

Just a little family of four on a big adventure in Europe! Saturday, June 27, 2015. M&M in Bastogne, Normandy, and Keukenhof. After our return from London, Chris and the kids had Friday off, so we spent the day in Bastogne. Chris has toured the Bastogne region before and was excited to show us around. If you have seen Band of Brothers, Bastogne is the place for you to visit! The new Bastogne War Museum is fantastic! Wondering what it must have been like. The view of Foy from the foxholes. Finally, a stop...

Vastine adVentures: Thomas is Moving Up!
http://vastineadventures.blogspot.com/2015/08/thomas-is-moving-up.html
Just a little family of four on a big adventure in Europe! Saturday, August 15, 2015. Thomas is Moving Up! June 25th was the last day of school for the kids. Thomas had his Sixth Grade Moving Up ceremony, and the Middle School does not attend on the last half day of school. I wish I had known this would be their last day at ISB.forever! That just kills me. Be on the lookout for their ISB photo shoot that will happen before we leave (whether they like it or not.). Thomas was all spiffed up for the ceremony.

Just a little family of four on a big adventure in Europe! Tuesday, October 14, 2014. August 27th, the kids were back to school starting their fourth school year at ISB. Yes, we've only been here 2.5 years, but we arrived mid-year when Allison was in 5th grade and Thomas in 3rd grade. And this year they started grades 8 and 6. So hard to believe. Flashback….Their first day at ISB, and they look so little! And…now this school year. Thomas - Grade 6. Allison - Grade 8. They are looking too old! A family as...

The Roberts Family: I Smell Bacon!!!
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2011/02/i-smell-bacon.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. Ashlen loves to read and has recently started to write her own 'books'. She writes stories (using her kindergarten spelling, which I love) about all kinds of random things. As I was picking up around the house, I happened to come across her latest 'novel'. The cover struck me as funny! A guy who refuses to be within a mile radius of a doughnut while in uniform will find this funny, right? This is so cute! I cannot wait until I find novels in my home. The Roberts Family: Winter Storm!!!
http://robertsf3.blogspot.com/2011/02/winter-storm.html
Wednesday, February 2, 2011. You know the saying 'God only gives us as much we can handle'? As we are all aware, the storm did hit and we did get the snow day. I got all caught up with work. Then, the second snow day. I got some much needed time to relax. Now, the third snow day is upon us. I think I will use this one to get AHEAD of my work because you just never know what is around the corner! Here are a few pictures from our snowstorm:. Ashlen and her friend in front of one of the snow drifts. Don't g...

Just a little family of four on a big adventure in Europe! Thursday, April 23, 2015. We are the Champions! I helped set up for the International Festival on Friday morning. It looked great! I arrived at the gated school welcomed by military personnel heavily armed with automatic weapons. Personally, I think that wouldn't be a bad idea to have in Brussels. It is still surreal for me to sit in a gymnasium and look at this sign across the way. Dunlap.yes.Paris.I never could have imagined. Until next time,.
