Melissa Widrick: Missionary Teacher in Guatemala. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Inauguration of our new church building. School is well underway. I'm teaching a couple more classes than I anticipated, so it has been really busy so far. We have a new curriculum, too, so I have to get used to that. Last Tuesday we had a field trip for the primary grades, and since it was Fat Tuesday we let them do "Carnaval," which is where they run around cracking confetti filled eggs on people's heads and throwing "pica pica," (translation: itchy itchy) on each other.
