It has been quite some time since my last writing. Life has been a whirlwind in the past few months. In April I was getting ready for big exciting changes ahead while making plans for my life. Now at the end of September life has had its ups and downs, good times and bad, good moments, and nervous moments, but all in all things are good.

I attended a program recently coordinated by a staff person regarding the recent protests and violence that erupted as a result of a video about the prophet Mohammed. Monday, May 4, 2009. The last day of my internship was April 22 and it was really bittersweet! I walked in on my final day to find my desk decorated with streamers and little signs saying things like "We'll miss you! Here is a picture I took. I kept the streamers up while I worked that morning and just sat in the middle of my own little party! I was only working a half day so my boss and my co-workers took me out to lunch, where they presented me with a card and Target gift card! Monday, April 27, 2009.
