The Crawford-Peterson Chronicles: December 2005

Monday, December 26, 2005. Nick's second Christmas was hectic but fun. After stopping to visit our friends Jody and Rob and meet five-day-old Mason (who's quite the charmer already) in the city on Christmas Eve, we picked up Aunt Bridget and Anthony and headed upstate to Grammer's house in Cornwall. Following the children's mass at St. Mary's in Marlboro (during which Nick learned a new word - "Amen! On Christmas morning, after we opened Nick's 92 gifts (we might have to find a b. Santa was good to us al...

The Crawford-Peterson Chronicles: February 2006

Saturday, February 18, 2006. A lot has transpired since our last post. On Feb. 8 Nick had his 18-month checkup. The fun part: Showing off in front of Dr. Ronan. During the exam, the good doctor asked, "Is he saying a few words, like 'Mommy' and 'Daddy'? Rob and I exchanged looks. "Nick, can you tell us your favorite Beatles song? If he can answer that, I'll be really impressed," said Dr. Ronan. Nick bellowed, right on cue. We believe he was impressed. The not-so-fun part: Shots! Day By then the temperatu...

Wednesday, May 17, 2006. It's been a while, folks, but we're back to blogging. This time, we're mainly gonna stick to photos. Why? Because the Beaner's just so darn cute. As you can see, Nick has his curls back. And mmm . Nick chewin' on a "che-ip" at Charrito's. Ah, our little (tinfoil hat) conspiracy theorist! Also, the 'rents (Aim and I) attended Julia and Jesse's wedding on Sunday at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Aim works with Julia at Sports Illustrated. Check out his perfect pixels.

Sunday, January 29, 2006. Today's the day Nick turns 18 months old. It seems like only yesterday that Aimee was sprawled out by labor pains in the backseat of her mom's Subaru. Traffic crawled that Friday afternoon and Nick almost made his debut on the West Side Highway. Oh, we can look back at that and laugh, can't we? Sweetie, please stop throwing books at me.). So Saturday we took Nick for his first haircut. Nick hasn't had his hair cut? Asked Eric, our blogfather. The Bean still had his original mane.

Saturday, March 31, 2007. Thank you, Easter Bunny! We talked Nick into posing for a photo with the Easter Bunny at Hoboken's annual Spring Fling in Columbus Park by telling him it would be his last chance to have the spotlight all to himself in a holiday photo . Posted by Aimee Crawford. Saturday, March 03, 2007. Top 'o the mornin' to ya! Nick and Mommy enjoying the bagpipers at the annual Hoboken St. Patrick's Day Parade. (We celebrate St. Paddy's a little early here in the 'Boken.).
