November 25, 2013. Making lists is my body power. Ev's rocked short hair since day one. I was all set to chopchop my hair up a few days ago but then decided to grow it out for a while. (Ima try to donate it again next year and perhaps save some dollars by not going in for trims so often.) Anyway, I've been mentally making my pro/con list about short vs long hair since May (based on 20 years of long hair and 6 months of shorter so . let's party). PROS (TO HAVING SHORTER HAIR):. Maybe that's just me).

June 16, 2014. Last day of preschool! So Bronson wrapped up his first school experience a few months ago. Back in August I was so nervous about him getting older and going out into the big bad world of preschool, we had a great experience at his school though! Here are some of the highlights:. He eventually developed an interest in writing and drawing! This is the biggest deal to me. I love seeing him write his name, draw The Hulk and hold a pencil the right way. He made a lot of new friends.

March 27, 2014. Another work conference for the tax lawyer in our fam took us to Berkeley(/technically Oakland too, I think? At The Claremont. THE most gorgeous place around. When we pulled up I had to double check that we were actually allowed to be there. It looked like a castle but more friendly than that. And fancier. Also, hello! Berkeley is gorgeous. July 30, 2013. The table toph built. Last Christmas we were still playing the waiting game on a job offer (and on Everly but that's another story.) and funds were pretty tight. I told Topher, "No presents for me! Not to play the martyr, I actually love the idea of scrimping and saving and looking back and being like, "Man we were broke! Remember when we skipped Christmas!
