The Daily Travels of Kelly and Diederik. Friday, December 17, 2010. Plans for the Holidays. It's that time of year. Planning the holidays is always fun. I haven't started my Christmas shopping at all! Of course I have an idea on what I want to get for everyone, but I hope they don't expect too much. Money is tight this year. It would be interesting to try snowboarding or skiing for the first time in my life. I may end up learning that I should stick with sledding and making snowmen. We love you all!

I finally FINALLY snagged a job that isn't just a job, it's a career opportunity! Not only is it a career it's one that has everything to do with what I went to school for. Can you believe it? Diederik had his interview with the consulate. He stood in line longer than he did talking to the interviewer. After he told them I had lived there for a while they said, in other words, "yep, your approved." In the next week Diederik will have his visa in hand! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). He has purchased a very nice plot of 10.59 acres in New London. This is where we will be building our beautiful new home. He is so excited. It is going to be great! The sweet part is: Diederik is coming to visit for 12 days! We've got a busy schedule. Seeing family, a weekend trip, house hunting, picking another date and more planning for the big day.
