L o s t a n d-found. 大約在99年的時候,筆者購入了生平第一台DJ用混音器,Pioneer DJM-300,就這樣開始了沒有退路,花錢如流水的DJ生涯.在當時,我深深的為DJM-300簡單大方的面板配置,以及相當實用的3-bendEQ跟自動BPM計拍器(註:完全不準的計拍器,純屬參考)所深深著迷,雖然DJM-300的Cross fader算是差強人意,但以一個初學者來說已經是非常足夠的經濟選擇了。光陰似箭,歲月如梭,渾渾噩噩到了這個新的世紀,轉眼間我已念了第二間大學,也似乎成為了一個DJ;當初一起走過青澀時光的DJM-300如今卻已淪為友人的音量控制器,過去稱霸全台大小舞場的四軌專業旗艦混音器DJM-600現在看來也似乎只是過時的中古品。 DJ文化/跳舞音樂在全球的蓬勃發展造就了DJ器材科技的大躍進,我們現在可以用I pod玩Mixin'.可以用MP3檔案玩Scratchin'.入門級混音器也居然配載大量效果器/可完全殺掉頻率的3-bendEQ等化器/96kHz/24bit自動取樣功能/線性調整Cross fader.什麼! L o s t a n d-found. 好的樂器之所以會是好的樂器,主要是因為它有好的音色(或是音源),音源可能是源自硬體(音源機/合成鍵盤),也可能是軟體的音源,所以現在所推出的音樂商品大多也可分為本身帶音色/音源或是單純的控制介面。當然了,本身具有音色的鍵盤只要有midi out/in插孔,也可以拿來當軟體音源的控制器)也許聰明的讀者會想,有沒有介於兩種之間的折衷產品呢? 有時買了一台好琴,內建音源極優,然而可能體積過大,旋鈕也不夠多作一些assign,不適合帶出去配合laptop表演;而單買一個控制介面,除了陽春的外觀之外,可能也要為尋找適合自己的軟體音源花上好一段功夫.這時Korg最新推出的Micro X將會是個很不錯的解決方案!
