Thursday, February 21, 2008. Yesterday was so cold that I just wanted to stay cuddled up in my nice warm bed. To help keep you warm during these cold winter days I thought I would share a recipe for Chicken Tortilla Soup that I recently tried. It's not exactly like the tortilla soup at The Cornhusker, but it is good and it's easy to make so give it a try it. 3 chicken breast (cut into 1 inch pieces. 8 oz sour cream. 1 (16 oz.) jar chunky salsa. 1 sm box Mexican Velveeta cheese. Thursday, March 27, 2008. I love the Mexican food I grew up with but I don't like to spend a lot of time cooking so I'm always trying to change the recipes for a quicker cook time. Recently I decided to try shortening the time to make chicken mole and came up with this recipe which turned out really good. It still uses a lot of the basics from my mothers recipe but doesn't take as long to make. 1 sm pkg. chili powder. 2 cans chicken broth. 1 envelope chili mix. 1/4 tsp. garlic salt.
