Punky & Buddy: Week 29
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2015/07/week-29.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. Where is this summer going? Mid July already- ugh! I didn't pick up my big camera, so here are some iPhone photos. Buddy'sports sampler class started t-ball last week. It's fun to watch him practice batting! Derek lost his wedding ring at a job site last Friday. He spent two hours that night searching the area with a metal detector and came up empty handed. He was back at the site on Wednesday for work and decided to take another peek. He found his ring! 5 days after losing it!

Punky & Buddy: February 2015
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 22, 2015. Punky has lost three teeth in the last 10 days! She is missing one on the top and two on the bottom and looks just like a jack-o-lantern now. :) She is growing up way too fast! Saturday, February 14, 2015. Sunday, February 8, 2015. They were both concentrating so hard. Buddy's mouth was wide open. I looked over and this is what Punky was doing. Sunday, February 1, 2015. A guest post by Derek this week. We got set-up relatively quickly - they were both pretty anxious to get thei...

Punky & Buddy: Week 30
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2015/07/week-30.html
Sunday, July 26, 2015. Earlier this summer, our neighbors asked if we wanted to go camping together. Derek and I had been thinking about going this summer since we didn't have a big summer vacation planned and we hadn't been in a long time (3 years! Punky was still able to go to a birthday party (at a horse stable! On Friday night. The boys left early to set up camp and the girls met them there after the party. Maybe next year we will be brave enough to go farther away. We spent a good chunk of the day a...

Punky & Buddy: September 2014
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. Last week, Buddy attended his first day of Nature School! It was the most awesome day for our little guy and just the perfect class for our boy. He was a little nervous to go on the first day, but as soon as we walked into his classroom and he saw the bug toys set up to play with, he was waving me off. He was so excited to go back the second week. And then on the second week, we found a snake curled up right outside of the entrance door! Monday, September 8, 2014. He is smart&...

Punky & Buddy: July 2014
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 27, 2014. We spent a few days at the lake with Grandma and Grandpa this week. We enjoy tagging along on their vacation so much. We are so thankful that our little city kids get a chance to spend some time in the great outdoors. We did a lot of fishing off the dock. We took a boat ride. We played at the beach. We stayed up late and enjoyed the sunsets. Buddy caught a bunch of frogs. Probably close to 6? They were named (in order of appearance): Hopster, Hopster #3, Lil' Hoppy and Hoppy Junior.

Punky & Buddy: May 2014
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 29, 2014. Day 4- Mountain Goats, Buffalo and Burros. Our last day in the Hills was the nicest weather we had all week. Fortunately, we had planned to do a lot of the scenic drives and outdoor activities that day. Unfortunately, it was the worst day for Punky's bout of diarrhea. We headed to Mount Rushmore first thing in the morning. We walked from the parking lot to the main view point. Upside down sunglasses are his thing. What's a parent to do? Both times we visited the Hills with the kid...

Punky & Buddy: Week 28
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2015/07/week-28.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. Our first stop was the Alpine Coaster at Spirit Mountain. We'd never been before, but we will definitely come again. It was sort of expensive for what it was, but we had no other plans to spend money, so we went for it. At this point, I wanted the kids to remember that I was on this family fun day too. I am the primary photo taker, so most of the time, I am not in any photos! I figured out that if I want to get a pretty picture of Punky, I need to let her take a silly one first.

Punky & Buddy: January 2015
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. Our little girl has gone and turned six. How is it even possible? I can remember the day (and weeks leading to) she was born like it was yesterday. She is growing so quickly. Today alone, she discovered three wiggly teeth. We love you to pieces! Sunday, January 11, 2015. She is definitely her father's daughter- she had to read every single sign! Whatever, I guess it's her's! It was a fun day and we timed our trip right- the crowds were getting to be too big by the time we left!

Punky & Buddy: June 2014
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 15, 2014. Happy Father's Day, Derek! Thank you for all you do for me, the kids and our family. We love you so much! Sunday, June 8, 2014. It was fun, chaotic and not at all peaceful. Buddy was more interested in the bait. Punky got her hair tangled into her fishing pole as she was reeling in a big fish. And I found three dead minnows in the house after we got home. I wouldn't change our day for the world. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Day 5- Badlands and Home. For days after our trip, Buddy would a...

Punky & Buddy: August 2014
http://punkyandbuddy.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 21, 2014. This summer Punky participated in both t-ball and soccer. She liked playing on the teams, but at this age, I think she is mostly in it for the socialization with her friends. By far, her favorite thing was going to the playground with her friends after the games. I should have wrote this blog post a month ago, but I was waiting for her team photo to come back. And, now, I've forgotten a lot. Here's what I want to remember from the summer. After the game, the kids took turns bri...
