http://gisforgaulke.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
G is for Gaulke. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Here are a few pictures of my boys on this Father's Day. Thanks for being such a hands-on, loving daddy and a helpful husband, Brent! I'm so thankful to have a parent-partner like you! Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Born June 5, 2011, at 11:58 am. 7 lb 11.6 oz., 20.5" long. Head of dark hair. Jury still out on who he looks like. So much. So, so much. But I must say I find myself wondering how we got here already- where did the last 3 1/2 years go? The last 9 months?

G is for Gaulke: 4th Fun!
http://gisforgaulke.blogspot.com/2011/07/4th-fun.html
G is for Gaulke. Sunday, July 10, 2011. I'm a little late on getting it posted, but I just can't seem to get much of anything done these days besides holding a baby boy! At any rate, here are some pics of our 4th of July fun at the parade in Sully. The day also included fun swimming with cousins in Grandpa and Grandma Nikkel's pool and fun with water balloons and fireworks in the evening. It was a good but exhausting day! Uncle Duane and Cousin Emily leading the parade in his cool squad car.

G is for Gaulke. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Last weekend right around his 4-week birthday, Silas starting showing us his adorable smile. While he wasn't too generous at doling them out initially, I see a few more everyday- and boy, are they cute! Not surprisingly, I get most of them right after he eats. He really likes to eat, so it makes sense that he would be the happiest when his tummy is full! Uncle Duane and Cousin Emily leading the parade in his cool squad car. The Sully parade never disappoints. The T...

Monday, May 31, 2010. 1000 Gifts: 79 to 99. I constantly wonder how serious/frequent bloggers do it. Is it streamlined and routine when you don't have to search your brain for reminders of how to use the most basic functions? Do they just need less sleep? Have a hired cleaning lady, perhaps? I don't know, but it takes me forever just to get this list posted. But worth every moment it is. 79 The hope of paint color samples lying on the counter. 80 80s sitcoms- finally, good clean TV. 98 Last day of school.

Tuesday, September 7, 2010. 1000 Gifts: 158 to 170. Honestly, today I don't feel much like speaking gratitude. Life feels heavy, difficult, confusing. But these days are, I suppose, when it's most crucial to choose to. 158 This face, ornery, nestled in my lap. 159 The sweet smell of toddler sweat. 160 A nap with actual sleeping, two days in a row! 161 Finally cooking a real meal again. 163 The desire to change. 165 Three dollar shoes. 166 Wild Cherry Pepsi. 167 A dishwasher, strange squeals and all.

Undivided: The Year of Sticking With It
http://livingundivided.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-year-another-new-start.html
Saturday, January 1, 2011. The Year of Sticking With It. The title of this post isn't terribly spiritual-sounding, but it's really what I hope to do in many ways, some simple things, some deeper that no one else may ever even know. It's a new year offering (another) new start. Praise God His mercies are new every morning! Okay, yes, I'm sure I'll face fatigue and discouragement, but I hope not to let it keep me from fighting effectively in the battle! It is for freedom. That Christ has set us free. G is ...
