The Easter season. The colors, the food, and a reminder for us all to remember Christ's sacrafice for us and his resurrection. The Easter Pageant at the temple was beautiful but my picture taking skills aren't. Quilts, this one is beautiful, thanks Mom! And this cat is just too photogenic. Waking up to a rainy day. What a pleasant surprise! When over 90% of the days are sunny, rainy days are a nice change. I love the smells and how it cools and cleanses the earth. A Lego family portrait:. Yes, we're not ...

Finally, we got our answer from the doctor yesterday morning. We went to the doctor's as a follow up visit from the ER, and we were very optimistic and not expecting the worse really. But the doctor had informed us that my HCG levels were lowering and it was unlikely that this pregnancy would stick. From that point on I knew it was true. Shaun and I have learned our lesson for next time. We're going to keep our mouths shut until after the first trimester :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

What we've been up to this summer. Memorial Day: Diamondbacks game. The cat who loves to lounge in sinks and laundry baskets. Fourth of July in Show Low. I had the honor of being the maid of honor at my friend's wedding. Afterward, we went to Cheesecake Factory and I ate whatever I wanted and it felt great! I also gained 2 pounds to show for it! Monday, December 21, 2009. These are a great way to get into the Christmas spirit! I know that ginger is sometimes a bit "spicy" for kids, but when they are covered in yummy maple syrup the balance is wonderful. The basic pancake batter recipe comes from The Joy of Cooking. From the number of recipes I have tried over the last few years this is the one I always come back to for a no-fail fluffy, light and tastey pancake. Pancake batter (from Joy of Cooking). Makes about 15 medium sized pancakes. Combine ...

Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Lolly pop chocolate chip cookies. This cookie recipe is amazing! It tastes very bakery, and it makes tons. I just roll the extra dough into a log inside wax paper and freeze it. Then the next time you want cookies you can just slice and bake that! 1 1/2 c packed light brown sugar. 1 1/3 c sugar. 1 1/2 tsp salt. 1 1/2 tsp baking soda. 6 1/2 c flour. 24 oz chocolate chips. To do the lolly pops:. They are really fun to dip in milk :). Sunday, July 26, 2009. I found this recipe on.

Monday, June 15, 2009. I love the band Lifehouse! I think I've been to most of their concerts in the valley. So this last weekend they played after the Diamondbacks game and my mom and dad were so awesome and kind enough to get us all tickets to it! We had so much fun! Even Madi went and had a blast! I think she liked the game better than the concert. She danced and cheered her little heart out! Thanks again Mom and Dad! Madi being a Ham! She has to sit by aunt Brandy no matter where we are!
