The Red One (South Australia) 2009- Cabernet- 56%, Shiraz 31% Barbera 5%, Trincadeira 5%, Tempranillo 2%, Nebbiolo 1% *produced by First Drop Wines. Yard Dog 2006- Petit Verdot 55%, Cabernet 30%, Merlot 15%. Los Planos 2004- Syrah.

I found this article to be useful from Food and Wine and I have my own little suggestions so you can use your own imagination and experience. But usually with food pairings and parties, I pick out light bodied wine for cocktail hours and parties that have finger foods and tapas. It might be the persons first stop before dinner so you don’t want to fill them up. Pates, Mousses- Zinfandel. Sweet and Spicy Sauces- Malbecs.
