The Hummers have arrived! Malcolm Island Bird Club. Sointula, British Columbia. 2015 Broughton CBC Results Released. January 4, 2016. Malcolm Island Bird Club. Almost 6,000 birds and 65 species were recorded in the 2015 Broughton CBC. Thirteen hardy souls spent the day in the wind and wet to spot winter birds, which included hundreds of red-breasted mergansers, American widgeon, bald eagles and gulls. A few of these showed up for the CBC-our thanks to Gord Curry for a wonderful photo of a Great Blue Heron.

Michigan Bird Records Committee. 2014 was an exceptional year for vagrants in Michigan, particularly for hummingbirds.
