Modern vehicles are a tangled mess of tubes, wires, and doohickies that make no sense to the non-engineer. While repair manuals are helpful, they often don't contain enough photos of what goes where. She taught me to never be afraid to ask any question, whether it be politically incorrect, strange, or against the grain. Instead of shaming me into silence, we would follow the logic of any question to its conclusion. I could tell my mom I didn't know if I believed in God and instead of having a heart attack, she would respond "why do you think that way? Happy Mother's Day, Mom.

Hearing about a statue being 50 ft tall is one thing. Seeing it in person is another. To convey this experience, I wanted to shoot a photo of my wife standing in front of the statue so the viewer could get a sense of scale. I also shot straight up at the statue in an attempt to show how high the thing felt to the viewer below.

So if you have a cable modem on vacation, you can plug in your MagicJack Plus 2014 and still receive calls from your home phone number. That is neat.
