Thoughts from my journey, my road. The End Of DOMA. Thoughts on the DOMA ruling by the Supreme Court. 1) I don’t understand when the court decided that they can overrule the will of the people. In the state of California, in 2009, the same election in which Barack Obama was first elected; Californians decided that marriage would be defined as a union of 1 man and 1 woman. Thoughts from my journey, my road. November and December have been pretty intense months for me. In November, I traveled down south to visit some family and have Thanksgiving with them. It was on this trip that Holy Spirit began to reveal a lot of things to me. Like a giant puzzle I didn’t know existed, pieces started coming together and a picture of what would become my very near future began to emerge. Here’s to new seasons!
