We knew we were going to ride our bikes/gator in a parade, but by bedtime Tuesday night, we were still undecided about which one. We had 3 to pick from around here. We decorated our bikes/gator on Tuesday and the boys did all their own work. Lots of tape a crepe paper and they are done! Hank’s friend Cameron riding his cubmobile with the help of his dad. I have talked about doing this for years, but every time I get a little spending money I talk myself out of it. I go to the store and walk out with sticker shock. I think how many pairs of shoes that could buy or how that is half way to a new something or other. I just don’t want to buy something and let it sit in the garage! August 12, 2012 · Filed under Uncategorized. Well summer is almost over, but we have been looking forward to Lost Pines with our crew. We have done this for 3 years now, but each year it gets better and better. I think as the kids get older and gain more independence, we do too! I try to teach modesty, but we whooped them! We are both competitive, but they are overall the more athletic family and winning felt pretty good! It is only fair that I mention they beat us at tennis on our last morning there.
