So around the time I realized that I was about to be a non-student, unemployed loser, and not have a sister’s wedding as a distraction, I decided to create another distraction in the form of a half marathon. I figured it would be a good goal to train towards, whilst fulfilling my need to take my mind off my unexciting life.
