The experiences and adventures of two girls serving the Lord in South Africa for seven weeks of their summer. Week #5 Prayer Update. Crisis Intervention Program - We are starting a program to help some of the kids here who have lost their parents or a loved one. So we will be doing that in the afternoons this week. Please pray that the kids would be open and that God would use this program to comfort and heal them. That we are both healthy. The weather has warmed up a bit! Then I said: "Ah, Lord God!

Great Is Thy Faithfulness. February 17, 2017. February 17, 2017. You all must have decided that I have completely forgotten about this blog. If that was true, I’d actually have a good excuse for not updating. But I didn’t and now I have the daunting task of filling you all in with what had been happening during my absence. Although that is a lot, I will begin! I found this very neat! If only I could draw like that…. This was the view from our window. The next day, we oldest four had a good time at the ma...

Great Is Thy Faithfulness. B C (part 4). October 21, 2016. These next couple pictures are still from our walk along the old sea wall. Once we were done there we cruised around in the downtown area, looking for a seafood restaurant. The one we ended up in turned out to be very fancy, to the delight of some and chagrin of others. Downtown was almost as fascinating as the ocean. The following pictures are from the next day on our way home. Piggy-back rides are the best! October 21, 2016 at 6:06 pm. Enter yo...

Great Is Thy Faithfulness. Jon and Yesenia’s Wedding:Preparations and Decorations! November 25, 2016. I can hardly believe that my wedding pictures are going onto a blog! For years, I’ve enjoyed the half hour on Sundays when my sisters and I were allowed to check blogs. The best ones were always the weddings! I’ve already mentioned it, but it’s worth saying again. Lorena Neufeld from Frames and Feathers Photography did our photography and she did such a good job! We will never regret choosing her! I abso...

Seven Weeks in South Africa: Mice & Chicken Feet
http://sevenweeksinsouthafrica.blogspot.com/2011/07/mice-chicken-feet.html
The experiences and adventures of two girls serving the Lord in South Africa for seven weeks of their summer. Mice and Chicken Feet. So the adventure continues. But that's not all. Our evening of sitting around the heater peacefully munching popcorn was suddenly interupted by a little guest. A mouse. :) The next hour was spent in a mad chase trying to get it out of the house. We finally succeeded only to have the persistent little guy come right back in! The best part is that we got it all on video!

Seven Weeks in South Africa: Photos
http://sevenweeksinsouthafrica.blogspot.com/2011/07/photos.html
The experiences and adventures of two girls serving the Lord in South Africa for seven weeks of their summer. Here are some photos from this week so far. This is Sebastian, a volunteer from Germany who was here at Ebenezer for 10 days. He helped us a lot in the preschool and we really enjoyed serving with him and getting to know him. We visited the elderly this afternoon and read the Bible to them and rubbed lotion on their hands. Hope you are all having a blessed week! Love and hugs,. 7/7/11, 10:02 PM.

http://sevenweeksinsouthafrica.blogspot.com/2011/07/quick-little-update.html
The experiences and adventures of two girls serving the Lord in South Africa for seven weeks of their summer. A Quick Little Update. Just thought we'd post a quick little update to let you all know what we're up to. Our final days are just flying by here! Then in the evening we have our Bible Study with the youth using the book "What the Bible Says About Sex". So far that has gone very well! The youth have all been very open and receptive, which is a praise! But we are both very excited to come home too!
