Triathlon training and competition. This WordPress.com site is the bee's knees. Tired – but getting there? April 22, 2014. I’ve had a few hard going weeks of training at this stage and I am averaging 10hrs of training each weeks – and I’m starting to feel it. A great thing is is that my bike confidence has increased – to the point of falling. Supposedly a good thing! And finally they have settled down. I can’t wait to get back into the OW again — but it will be bloody cold in the sea around Dublin and for my lake swim at Lough Cutra. I think my swimming has improved greatly over the winter – am training and the brilliant (but difficult) training session with Pulse once week should really pay dividend. Running – going great! That’s the only word that can discribe how I am feeling about Lough Cutra – my first adventure into Olympic distance. To Breathe Another Day. To Breathe Another Day. Friday, July 19, 2013. It's time for some catching up! Plans for my lung transplant/ heart surgery might be changing. The California docs recommended a biopsy of the tumor and a heart and lung transplant. I was shocked when my nurse told me this. It took me a day or two to absorb the info and to be ok with it. I know God is taking care of me and I believe I am following his plan for me. 1 Heart and lung transplant. 2 Lung transplant with heart surgery.
