BONNIE'S BRAINSTORM: A Texas High School Football Rant
http://bonniesbrainstorm.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-texas-high-school-football-rant.html
OFF THE TOP AND WHATEVER HAPPENS TO BE ON MY MIND. Monday, September 10, 2012. A Texas High School Football Rant. And then there is the big question. Why do we continue to do this? Are the lifelong injuries these boys are going to experience worth the joy of the spectators? I have other concerns about the football environment, but this is Texas, and I know that my opinions will not change anything. September 10, 2012 at 9:42 PM. First of all YAY! You are back to blogging! I have missed you! Annie still d...

BONNIE'S BRAINSTORM: February 2014
http://bonniesbrainstorm.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
OFF THE TOP AND WHATEVER HAPPENS TO BE ON MY MIND. Sunday, February 23, 2014. On a Precipice, What Could Possibly Go Wrong? I am sitting on top of the world right now. The Utah State legislature is poised to pass a bill next week that will open the adoption records of those adopted prior to 1941. In 1941 the legislators in Utah voted to seal all adoption records for one hundred years. They made the sealing of the records retroactive to all adoptions ever contracted in the state. And they had to do a lot.

http://thefisherfamily72.blogspot.com/2015/05/ruby-turns-one-and-mothers-day.html
Sunday, May 17, 2015. Ruby turns ONE and Mothers Day. May has been a fun month with our darling little Ruby celebrating her first birthday! We can't believe she is one year old. Her parents hosted a fun party for her with both sides of the family. We met at a park where there was a fun playground for the little ones. It was a bit cool and rainy but it was still such a fun party. Below is Ruby's very own birthday cake. After we all ate pizza, watermelon and other yummy food Ruby opened her presents. Kim a...

indelible edibles: how to survive hand, foot, and mouth disease
http://indelibleedibles.blogspot.com/2014/04/how-to-survive-hand-foot-and-mouth.html
Monday, April 7, 2014. How to survive hand, foot, and mouth disease. In the last 10 days, our entire family contracted Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease. It's basically Chicken Pox meets Strep Throat. You get a fever for a day or two, and then you break out in a rash that is particularly bad on your (surprise! Hands, feet, and mouth. But it's the inside of your mouth and your throat, making it nearly impossible to eat or speak. 1 Adults can get this disease. 2 Foods you can and cannot eat. 3 Mouth sores aren...

indelible edibles: Meal Planning Solution
http://indelibleedibles.blogspot.com/2012/09/meal-planning-solution.html
Monday, September 17, 2012. For the last 8 years I have been trying to figure out an efficient way to get good food on on the table for dinner. When you think about it, this is a complicated process. Step 1: Get ideas for meals. Step 2: Put the ideas somewhere where you can find them later. Step 3: Plan some meals to eat for a given week. Step 4: Figure out what ingredients you need. Step 5: Buy the ingredients at the store. At this point, my friend Kristin and I actually played around with starting up a...

The Lentzes: Venice and Murano
http://lentzes.blogspot.com/2012/07/venice-and-murano.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Our first stop on our month long vacation was Venice. We left for our first cruise in Venice, but we spent a few days there first. We absolutely loved it.but didn't love our hotel so much. Sam booked our hotel online through a Groupon-like offer.never doing that again! Even the cheapest ones for a short ride were about $200.) The gondoliers are incredibly talented, and it is considered an art. If we had more than just two people we definitely would have ridden one, as we co...In Pi...

Deanna Deals: My Sea-Worthy Classroom
http://deannadeals.blogspot.com/2014/08/my-sea-worthy-classroom.html
Wednesday, August 13, 2014. This is my 2nd year using a nautical theme in my classroom. Being a Navy brat, this just feels right! I have this on my front wall to take up space. I bought it at Hobby Lobby when it was on sale. A lot of craft stores have a nautical section. A Great Catch is where I display student work. The distance marker was a gift from my daughter. It shows the places I have traveled to. More of the birthday banner. This helm is in between our windows (Hobby Lobby). I have this flag in t...

BONNIE'S BRAINSTORM: Sweet Sixteen and Never Been Kissed
http://bonniesbrainstorm.blogspot.com/2014/05/sweet-sixteen-and-never-been-kissed.html
OFF THE TOP AND WHATEVER HAPPENS TO BE ON MY MIND. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Sweet Sixteen and Never Been Kissed. I gave it some thought and came to the conclusion that I would give Jeff's money to John if he could hold out. So, if John could be make it until his 16th birthday he would get Jeff's money and his money. What could a sixteen year old boy do with $200? Love that Claire could have even a tiny part in it! May 13, 2014 at 10:07 PM. Way to go Joe! May 14, 2014 at 5:04 PM. Way to hang in there! July ...

sweet nothings: The Great Valentine's Fire of 2013
http://caitlynleilani.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-great-valentines-fire-of-2013.html
Thursday, February 14, 2013. The Great Valentine's Fire of 2013. Well, it wasn't that great, but entirely laughable and now I can be mocked for all eternity. And so the story goes:. Of new underwear, I set it on the bathroom counter so I would remember to take it with me. Then I head back to the bedroom to battle the great debate of my everyday - what to wear to work. I'm already running late. You should probably go see what that smell is.". I decide to blow on it. That did nothing. Though it's s...Trash...

Mullen Mania: November 2011
http://mullenmania.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Lovin' the crazy life! Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Pineapples and Polynesians (Wednesday). Thursday we decided to get out and see more touristy site stuff. We had quite the list to do and unfortunately we are human and couldn't possibly do everything that we had wanted to do that day, but I guess that gives a good reason to go again! I was actually really excited:) Our little Hawaiian was ready for it too. First stop of the day was the Dole Pineapple Plantation. Well who knew a gum tree was so colorful!
