Haws Homestead: February 2008
http://hawshomestead.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
My random musings and bits of my family life. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. Ick we are Sick. Well, it has been going around and finally landed at our house. It started with C getting a cold. She was good enough to then share this with her family. We are all taking lots of Airborne to try and keep healthy. Crossing our fingers that it all works. I know that Stephanie's family has been sick forever it seems so we are praying to keep out of that mode. Posted by The DM Dad. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Haws Homestead: Pinewood derby season
http://hawshomestead.blogspot.com/2010/01/pinewood-derby-season.html
My random musings and bits of my family life. Thursday, January 28, 2010. We had a good time last night at what will be T's last Pinewood derby. He got to carry the American Flag for the Flag ceremony and was also awarded his Bear Badge. We got the car dialed in right at 5oz but when race time came it did not perform well. He was a bit bummed out. I could see that the back was not moving well but the rules are once the car is weighed in and entered you can not touch or fix anything. Posted by The DM Dad.

My random musings and bits of my family life. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Family swim party at the Schlaws. My sister was kind enough to share a couple of good shots from the family swim party at Tami and Dave's. I have a few on my camera to download still but Steph got the new nice camera so these turned out very good. I love this first one with all the kids making some great faces. :). Here is C just chilling in the tube. She does not like to go underwater but she sure loves to be in the water. TSA 8 - W...

My random musings and bits of my family life. Monday, June 29, 2009. Impromptu trip to the Temple. We started thinking of what we could do away from the house and decided on a little trip to see the Temple. Enjoyed the AC in the truck and the family time. We did not spend much time actually at the Temple since it was just so hot. We did get to enjoy the ride and the special sprit of the grounds. Posted by The DM Dad. Friday, June 26, 2009. My random musings and bits of my family life. Wednesday, September 03, 2008. P looks like a normal girl. The other day P walks into our room and out of the blue says the funniest thing. I had her repeat it on video for you all to enjoy. She has a wicked fast sense of humor. Always comes up with some great ones for us to enjoy. Posted by The DM Dad. Monday, September 01, 2008. Family time at the park. Here is C getting ready for her first ride. P was ready to go. T lined up and ready to launch.

Pam Ames: April 2009
http://pamames.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Favourite Quotes - A ship is safe in harbour, but that is not what ships are built for. Thursday, April 9, 2009. I just returned from a trip to Tunisia with 4 friends from Saudi Arabia. We're all Canadians with roots in Calgary, except for one Texan, who is now an honourary Canadian, since we always responded 'Canada' when asked where we're from. Tunis - the capital city. These are my traveling friends - me, Michelle, Lynne,. Cathy and Therese. Notice the door - very typical in style and colour here.

Favourite Quotes - A ship is safe in harbour, but that is not what ships are built for. Wednesday, August 12, 2009. We spent a day together at Stampede Park. The barns are always a hit for the kids and everyone loves the midway (well almost everyone) but from these photos, you'll notice that one of our favourite activities was sampling the full range of fair junk food - and I didn't even post the rest (corn dogs, ice-cream, popcorn, etc). What a great time. More later on some of our other fun.

Pam Ames: Summer Fun
http://pamames.blogspot.com/2009/08/summer-fun.html
Favourite Quotes - A ship is safe in harbour, but that is not what ships are built for. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. This summer we had a great time in Calgary. As the family gets larger, more spread out, and more established with their own lives (jobs, school, etc) it becomes more difficult to gather everyone together. But we managed it this summer - everyone came to Calgary. I arrived first and after just a couple of days there, I flew to Kamloops to visit Dad and Deanna. We ended our time in Canada wit...
