Saturday, 5 November 2011. Took Mel, Bronwen and Jake to see my dad, probably for their last time. The doctors have agreed to maintain dads pain relief and ensure he's comfortable. They've stopped giving him steroids and, as he's refusing to eat, they've agreed not to force him to eat. So basically his condition will deteriorate pretty rapidly and he'll pass away, painlessly and as comfortable as possible. 8 November 2011 at 15:27.
