Located just blocks south of Highway 3, on the Kettle River at Fifth Ave. in Midway you will find the Frank Carpenter Memorial Campground. Enjoy camping right beside the river in the heart of the Village of Midway. The Frank Carpenter Riverfront Park is the perfect location for events such as weddings and family renunions. There are lots of fun outdoor activities for you to enjoy around Midway like hiking, biking, swiming, and fishing. Quick Facts about the Campground:. 20 per night plus $3 for power.

By 1884, Midway had it's first resident, a Mr. Henry Nicholson, and by 1889 Louis Eholt owned a thriving ranch on what is now the town site of Midway, known then as the Eholts. ICBC and Motor Vehicles. The Midway Village Office is located at 661 Eighth Ave. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, closed for lunch, 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm. The office is closed on all statutory holidays. The Council Chambers are located in the Village Office. Council meetings are the first and third Monday of every month.
