Monday, June 9, 2014. School's Out For Summer! I'm sorry I haven't updated the blog in a while. It's been crazy around here with school getting out for summer, and all the activities surrounding that. Matt finished 2nd grade with a bang and is excited to start 3rd grade in the fall. We plan to just relax and play a lot this summer! Overall, Matt had the best winter ever this year! Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Matthew saw four doctors today and had a repeat swallow study to see how he handles food and drink now that his cleft is repaired. The swallow study came back perfect! He did not aspirate on anything! We get to continue on regular liquids (not thickened) as long as he continues to tolerate it. They scoped his throat to look at the cleft repair today, and the stitches all help and there is no additional scar tissue, so the repair was perfect! Thank you, Dr. Rahbar! Taking a brea...

Mighty Matthew

Matthew is the youngest of our three boys. He has been diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disorder Complex I and III, Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction, FTT and Glucose Intolerance. He has been through countless tests and procedures in the past 8 years . We do not know what the future holds for him, but we are going to do our best to cherish every day with him.
