Mildenhall Museum provides educational activities for adults and children (during the school holidays), as well as catering for visits from schools and taking outreach teams into schools. For more information click on one of these links:. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 2.00pm-4.30pm. Friday 10.30am -4.30pm. In July and August the museum is also open from 10.30 - 12.30 on Thursdays.

HE EXCAVATION of a man buried with a horse and lavish grave goods at RAF Lakenheath attracted national media attention. Evidence of a burial mound led excavators to suspect that the burial might be important. When the soil was stripped away the amazing find was revealed. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 2.00pm-4.30pm. Friday 10.30am -4.30pm. After the clocks change in October we close at 4.00pm.
