Dylan and Alex Update. The kids don't have school tomorrow, so I figured they could stay up late and have some fun. So I'm amazed at how much Dylan has grown this year. Even since school started his jeans are starting to get short on him. He is really thinning out, not so chubby anymore. He's pretty tall for his age and just keeps getting taller. His baby face look is almost gone. Although he still has little stubby, chubby fingers! They are so cute! He liked it ok but was more excited for the treat!

Dylan's birthday is always around President's Day. We almost named him Lincoln. We usually spend President's Day with Jared's parents in New Harmony. They had several big name speakers (ok, so they're only big names in the ed tech world) including David Warlick, Kevin Honeycutt, and Alan November. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I have to say I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. A few weeks ago I first heard about Pete Frates and the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I was watching ESPN and they did a profile on this former Boston College baseball player who was trying to raise awareness on ALS, the disease he contracted a while earlier.
