Miles for Mandy 5K is a non-profit organization created to honor the memory of Mandy Druckenbrod. Mandy was a typical 13 year-old girl who loved everything about life. She was a kind hearted, gentle soul who loved spending time with her family and friends. Her life was tragically cut short on October 29, 1995 after she was accidentally shot and killed by a 16 year-old boy who was playing with a gun. 2010 was the first year for this event and it quickly has become a runner favorite.

Welcome to Miles for Martha. I lost my mom, Martha, to colon cancer in 2003. In 2006, colon cancer took my dad, Jim. In 2008, my good friend's four-year old son, Colson was diagnosed with Leukemia.
