The Other Compost: October 2014
http://stegzy.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, 25 October 2014. 165 – The Best of Era – Era. No I’d never heard of them either. It seems that I must have liked one of their songs and downloaded all of their music in the hope of finding something original. This is like a poor man’s Enigma. Lots of Gregorian Chants (Popular in the 1990s) and new age fiddle faddle. The kind of music you might hear in one of those shops that sell floaty vaginas, tofu knitting kits and yogurt weaving tools. Filed under: Chill out. Links to this post. I have a sn...

Friday, 12 December 2014. Book of Kells – Iona (#210). New age floaty vaginary with added Christian connotations. Presumably to stop people descending into debauched pagan wizardry. Or taking up tofu wrestling. Or goji berry worship. Filed under: Music Project. Labels: 2014 at 06:20PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Don't look so surprised. Pageviews from the past week. FAQs About this blog. Chewy chunky Wordpress flavour. The Mucky Badger Flavour. Boxed – Mike Oldfield (#213). Stuff No One Told Me.

The Other Compost: November 2014
http://stegzy.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, 15 November 2014. Beyond the Veil – Tristania (183). A prime example of why it is a bad idea to download or buy an album purely because you like one song from it. Norwegian hair metal. With choirs, ladies with large breasts and death growls. Great if you’re a teenager. Not so impressive if you’re a respectable 40 something. Filed under: Music Project. Links to this post. Labels: 2014 at 10:45AM. Wednesday, 12 November 2014. Beyond Sanctorum – Therion (#180). Links to this post. Subscribe to: Po...

Tuesday, 16 December 2014. Boxed – Mike Oldfield (#213). 8211; Mike Oldfield. Boxed is a compilation of Oldfield’s early works in their entirety. Featured in this “Box set” compilation are:. And a number of single projects such as Portsmouth and In Dulci Jubilo. As all the original albums will feature in this project eventually, I’ll not dwell too long or go into too much detail on this album for fear of repeating myself. Filed under: Mike Oldfield. Recently, on lj. Insult your friends, amuse your enemies. Sadly, no subject). Last night I got back home from my cross country bike trip. I have gone 4459.5 miles, more or less, since I left San Francisco. It is a terribly exciting tail of strife, woe and hardship. I ran out of water in the desert in Utah. I was almost hit by a tornado in Wisconsin. I saw a bear in New Jersey. It was great. I'm working on getting my blog current. Milezer0. I also need to take some time making peace with my cat.

Thursday, 31 July 2014. Things You Should Know About Introverts. Originally posted on Playfully Tacky. 1) We need to recharge alone. This right here is the cusp of the entire introvert v. extrovert debate (if there is one, anyway) – Introverts need to be alone to recharge. We tend to get completely worn out by socializing. This is basically what it means to be an introvert. 2) We don’t hate being around people, but we probably hate crowds. 3) We don’t mind silence. Links to this post. Friday, 25 July 2014.

Wednesday, 28 January 2015. Call on the Dark – Various Artists (#236). Call on the Dark. 8211; Various Artists. I think it’s probably best that I warn you in advance. When I get to “G” there will be a whole load of compilation albums similar to this resulting from my search into gothic music. If you read regularly you’ll already know of that search. Call on the Dark. Anyway, the compilation consists of the following:. Annwyn, Beneath the Waves – Faith and the Muse. Flash in My Veins – Silke Bischoff.
