Planning & Consultation. The power generation plant would be situated within Rookery South Pit and would cover an area of approximately 20 acres. If built, the Millbrook Power plant will generate up to 299 MW which is sufficient power to supply the equivalent of 400,000 homes at times when demand is greatest, and employ management and maintenance staff of up to 15 people.
