The Lincoln Heritage Trail is a route which passes by locations of significance in the life of Abraham Lincoln, our country's 16th president and the only one born in Kentucky. This route passes through Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois, and is 2,200 miles long. At one time, the Lincoln Heritage Trail was enough of a tourist attraction that a brochure was printed to publicize it.
