The Millers: March 2015
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. One thumb, two thumbs. Where is my thumb? Last week, during a rapid fire exchange at dinner, Steve gave Marcus a 'thumbs up'. Marcus quickly tried to respond in kind by pointing his index finger at Steve. After some smiles and reminiscing about how Eli used to do this, I gave Marcus another 'thumbs up' and asked if he could do it? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Problem with Cardboard Cutouts. The Millers: October 2014
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Even though the Red Sox did not cooperate with having a great year, my crew was very excited to get up to Boston and experience the magic of Fenway for the first time. This trip has been talked about for many years, with the boys anxiously waiting for Eli to be 'old enough'. Well he finally was(! And in August this year the older boys and Steve and Uncle Dan made the pilgrimage north! The boys were beyond excited about this trip:. Starting the road trip at 5AM! While Marcus may ...

The Millers: Baseball wind-down
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015/06/baseball-wind-down.html
Thursday, June 4, 2015. As we gear up for summer, here are some pictures from our spring baseball seasons. Both of my older boys really enjoyed playing and being with their teams. Zach was outstanding in the field and even assisted in a triple play! He got 2 out of the 3 outs-caught a high pop, tagged first and then threw to second! Eli continues to be a natural on the field, his coach was nervous to pitch standing so close to him. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Problem with Cardboard Cutouts.

The Millers: To Mississippi and Back!
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015/06/to-mississippi-and-back.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. To Mississippi and Back! It's a parasaurolophus- can't you see the head crest! After much anticipation, we have finally traveled to Mississippi for Steve's 12th year speaking at Lake Forest Ranch. It is the first time Marcus has ever gone and it has been 5 years since Zach, Eli and I have gone. The boys had been looking forward to the trip all year and with our beach vacation schedule right afterwards, we made it one long 2 week journey. That night we drove to Durham, NC (6 hours).

The Millers: August 2015
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 20, 2015. One day this summer, while I was serving lunch to my guys, I realized that they are leaving me. Each day is one day closer to their being gone. So I am just going on record, right now, that I don't like it! And, if it can cause me to cry while we are still 10 years out, I would stay clear of emotional me when the time actually comes! And we have done it all while eating plenty of delicious fresh fruits and vegetables. I am learning that there will always be amazing and exci...

The Millers: To Mississippi and Back: Part 4 "Corolla!"
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015/06/to-mississippi-and-back-part-4-corolla.html
Saturday, June 27, 2015. To Mississippi and Back: Part 4 "Corolla! The final destination in our fun adventures, was a week at the beach with my family. Plenty of swimming, sunshine and sugar to be had- just in case we hadn't had our fill yet! I finally gave up on capturing a nice picture of all three boys ( as evidenced by the previous posts. And decided to catch them au naturel.or at least in one state of natural! For my night of cooking (the only night I cooked dinner during the entire 16 days! We have...

The Millers: February 2015
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. We received a few more inches of sloppy, wet snow yesterday and after homeschool we went outside to start clearing it off of the driveways and steps. Lillian entertained the boys by building a snowman while I worked their snowblower(! Which beats shoveling any day of the week. We were only outside for an hour and a half but when I was done I found this sight waiting for me at the door in the garage:. And this picture is just because he is so cute! The Millers: December 2014
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Another year, another tree. We have learned a valuable lesson from past tree hunting experience, and that is that trees in the field are much larger in your home! This year we took a measuring tape. (My father will be pleased to know that the unemotional measuring tape steered us in the right direction! On Thanksgiving day, the boys played some of the songs that they have been learning on the guitar! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Problem with Cardboard Cutouts.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. Say It Ain't So.Whiffle Ball Drama. You cut me deep, Eli. You cut me real deep. For those wondering, the Cubs won the game in the 10th inning, 7-6. The Millers: May 2015
http://morningswithzach.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. On the front lawn. No He is not playing hide-n-seek. Yes, he does play hide-n-seek by covering his eyes only! No, he did not have a late night. No, he is not sick. No, he is not pretending. He is sound asleep. In his glove. During a game. Yes, apparently he needed a nap. Next Stop: Fenway Park. The Red Sox were kind enough to at least win the game we attended which made the whole long day (plus the bleacher climb to the last-row-possible-while still-in-the-park), worth it!
