March 28, 2010. The other morning, after James and Makayla had caught the bus, Jason and I sat down for a quick breakfast together. All of a sudden, Jason started laughing. He had noted the differences in our plates. So now it's quiz time . . . which plate is Jason's and which is mine? Before anyone feels too sorry for Jason, I feel the need to point out that I honestly tried to "doctor" Jason's up. He just prefered his plain. March 25, 2010. Once again I receive the Mother of the Year Award. Those Who C...

September 1, 2011. Jenna's First Day of First Grade. Hard to believe, but yes . . . school is back in session. I also find it hard to believe that I have two kids in Junior High! All of the kids were actually really excited to go back, except James! It is actually a blessing for me that she is on a later bus. Jenna is not what I would call a "morning person". Waiting and watching for . . . Here is Morgan waiting too! Please pray for her - and me! And getting off the bus after school. Stand For The Right.

September 27, 2009. A couple weeks ago, James started taking Judo. It is amazing to watch him. He is, most of the time, able to focus like I have never seen him focus before. He really enjoys it. I have a couple videos of James, but he didn't want them put on, so . . . pictures is all there is. Pretty cool huh? James takes Judo with his Uncle Justin, the boy to his side. They are pretty good buds. September 12, 2009. I couldn't resist putting this on the blog! Ahhh, good times! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

November 8, 2011. Thankfully, there was no snow! So i cannot find the pictures i took of Morgan. That means that i inadvertently deleted them. Any guesses as to what morgan and i will be doing after i post this? I am beginning now to question the wisdom of storing the Halloween costumes on the upper-most shelf in the garage. May 26, 2010. About a month ago, Morgan began consistantly walking more than crawling. About the time I realized this, I also realized that I had not got her first stumbling steps on camara. Our poor, neglected fourth child! So here she is walking. She is now almost running. Oh well. May 24, 2010. I love Monday mornings. It is usually my "frantically put the house back in order after the weekend day". It is a productive day. It looks rather pretty doesn't it? This is my freshly prepared garden bed.

October 18, 2010. Teenager in the House! It is official, not that I am old, just that I have a 13 year old in my house. Yes, my baby boy turned 13! We celebrated at Jammi's house (where all the toys are :-) Jason loaded up his four wheeler for the younger kids. It was a blast! We dined on pizza, chips, pop, crab salad, cake and ice cream. It is a teenage kid's birthday party right? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. James, Makayla and Jenna. Those Who Check In With Us.

November 8, 2009. Have any of you ever had a "been there, done that" experience? Well, I am going to document mine! Before I start explaining my delightful learning experience - I need to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mom and Brittany for the helpful hints along my adventure. The tale begins with two large pumpkins - gutted but not carved. It is November 1st and I have made the executive decision to not carve them, but can them. Below you see the remaining cooked pieces. Beautiful, isn't it?

October 11, 2011. In June our family traveled to Martin's Cove with our ward. It was an experience that I will always treasure. It was one of those experiences that cannot adequately be expressed in words. I wanted to share some of the pictures that we took - they capture some of the flavor of our experience. Makayla and Jenna making bead bracelets in camp. Jason pulling and James pushing. Makayla and Jenna got to ride in the cart. One of the statues near the Sweetwater River. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

August 28, 2011. James's First XC Meet. About 2 weeks ago, James began Cross Country. He had his first meet on Friday up at Grand Targhee. It was a very difficult course. He did an excellent job, I am so proud of him! Although we didn't make it in time to see him start, we caught the tail end of the race. Climbing he final hill. Just crossing the finish line. It was a 2500 meter race. His time was 11:52. In his division he finished 3rd overall and 1st for Teton! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

April 28, 2010. My New Budding Pianist. Can you guess whose hands these are? Here is a clue . . . And the big reveal . . . I am one happy Mom. I have been trying to get Makayla to take piano lessons for a year or so now. She would always insist on the violin. Which would be lovely too, BUT we do already have a piano. Who knows, maybe a few years down the road the desire to learn the violin will still be there, but a few years of piano lessons couldn't hurt either. A Mom can dream. April 27, 2010. During ...
