Custom Monitor Support Arm Assembly. This project was built as a proof of concept, it was designed to support an overhung 27 lb touch-screen monitor used in a laser eye surgery system. Finishing and Assembly: After inspection the aluminum parts were bead blasted and received a black anodize finish (MIL-SPEC 8625F Type 2, Class 2). The parts were bead blasted to achieve a matt black finish. After beautification process the 19 parts were assembled with Stainless Hardware at the customers request.
