Serving God in Chiapas & Tabasco: Clinic Gift
http://millsfamilymission.blogspot.com/2008/11/clinic-gift.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. This past week, just before Thanksgiving, we learned of a $25,000 gift from a church in Illinois to help with clinic construction. It came at the perfect time! In addition to the logic of giving us one more thing to be thankful for, it also came at a time of discouragement - - as if to say, "hang in there.it'll get built.just be patient and faithful." Boy, what a message we needed to hear! They have to be able to withstand an earthquake. The list goes on and on. But still. ...
Serving God in Chiapas & Tabasco: April 2008

Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Earth Day in Mexico? I think Earth Day happened last week. I'm not really sure. In the states, there was always enough publicity that I knew when Earth Day would be and was challenged to make changes in my life to be kinder to the Earth. Here, I never heard a word. So why is there pollution? Some might say it's a lack of education. Partly true. Some might say it's that they just don't care. Probably also partly true. Serving God in Chiapas & Tabasco: September 2008
http://millsfamilymission.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 29, 2008. More at home in churches and new ministries than in our house. So we've been back in our house for about 10 days now. Boxes clutter the dining room, and the walls remain bare. But perhaps the most odd aspect of the experience of moving back into our house is the neutral color scheme. We repainted and put down new carpet to make the colors more neutral for tenants who would be renting our home. The result? John has finally begun work for the ECHO Foundation,. So, the Mills Fami...

Sharing a day in the life of Ken, Linda, Marilynn and Erika. Sunday, June 5, 2011. This was one of those amazing, rare weekends in Seattle. Clowning around at Grasslawn. The goods from the pinata. With the birthday girl. Sandra and I went to the U2 Concert on Saturday night. My little princesses after church services. Then, we went to ...
