The rantings of a confused soul! I rant, therefore I am! Thursday, June 18, 2009. I’m finally getting down to writing. If you’ve followed this blog for sometime you’ll probably know that most of my posts either say ‘here’s hoping to get back’ or ‘I’m back’ but none actually getting back! I have just received the wood for my new F style Mandolin. A very special thanks goes out to Don Barnes of Grandpa's Workshop. For a beautiful set of quilted maple for the build. I ordered the wood a couple of weeks ago and it arrived yesterday. What a beautiful set of Quilted Maple! Here is a shot of the one piece back.
