Living it up in Las Vegas. Saturday, August 4, 2012. Hawaii and Alaska in the same year? SURE For Benj's parents 50th wedding anniversary, Benj's sister, Debbie and her husband paid for all the kids and their spouses to go on a cruise to Alaska together. It was so much fun! Rhapsody of the Seas. There were 3 stops total: Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria, British Columbia. Waiting for the show to start. But another awesome glacier and with binoculars, you could see the sea lions sleeping near the bottom.

Last Saturday, Lexi and Ava performed in their dance recital. Ava's class did a tap number to the song "Do You Love Me." She did so great! Living it up in Las Vegas. Monday, August 29, 2011. First Day of School. It's the first day of school! Lexi is in 3rd grade and Ava is in Kindergarten. I can't even believe it. They were so excited this morning. No big breakfast in this house today, the girls were too stoked to eat much. Lexi has P.E. on Mondays, so she couldn't wear a skirt. The Family Who Runs Together, Stays Together! Monday, April 27, 2009. Let the Racing Begin - 16 weeks till my Full Marathon! I have 2 running goals for 2009. One goal is to run at least one race each month. So far, I am right on track with a race to spare as I ran 2 races in April! My other goal is to run my first full marathon on August 16 th. On Sunday, August 16th, 2009 after 5 hours, 6 minutes, and 13 seconds of running, jogging, walking, and hopping (for real! Here is a description of her from her book, "An Uncommon Heart". After the talk, we headed to the catered dinner which was delicious! We sat with my little 13 year old friend Maddy, who is only 13 and running half marathons!

I always looked to about thirty as the barrier of any real or fierce delight in the passions, and determined to work them out in the younger ore and better veins of the mine - and I flatter myself (perhaps) that I have pretty well done so - and now the dross is coming. It has required alot of renovations in the past months, including new plumbing, a new roof, a new kitchen, refinishing floors, and painting. We are finally seeing the end of the tunnel….
